"Por siglos los artistas han creído que sus acciones pueden mejorar el mundo y acercarlo a la perfección. Sin embargo, aquellos que lideran las guerras y cruzadas no les interesa las miradas de los artistas. En realidad, no tenemos opción - estamos siempre de algún lado del conflicto. La muerte de una persona es la pérdida de una cultura humana individual. Como pueblo, nos sentimos particularmente vulnerables frente a la muerte de un niño. Cada muerte inmerecida es una pérdida de esperanza por un mundo mejor.

Mi obra presenta tres rostros de niños. En este caso, el pasado y el presente parecen iguales. Es la PAX desde el fondo del corazón."


"For centuries artists have always believed that their actions can make the world better and closer to perfect. However, those who lead the wars and crusades do not care about the artists’ views. We are, in fact, never given a choice - we are always on one of the conflict’s sides. One person’s death is a loss of an individual human culture. As people, we feel particularly helpless confronted by a child’s death. Each undeserved death is a loss of hope for a better world.

My works present three heads of children. In this case the past and the presence seem similar. It is the PAX from the bottom of the heart."

"Mis obras reflejan el estado anímico en que me encuentro cuando las creo. La Paz es un estado de  ánimo que se refleja en toda la labor realizada por el artista sin ella no se puede crear. Las guerras crean  destrucción y muerte sin la paz yo no podría pintar esos bosques bucólicos cargados de lirismo y misterio sus árboles con verdes follajes y la neblina  entre sus troncos filtrando suavemente la luz haciendo su transitar un ejercicio de misticismo; entre sus brumas se experimentan ensoñaciones que nos transportan a otros mundos. Con la guerra todo estaría calcinado, la  muerte y la destrucción camparían a sus anchas convirtiendo todo en un erial de horror, silencio y barbarie."

"My work reflects my mood at the moment I create them. Peace is a state of mind reflecting the artist’s whole creation. No creation is possible without Peace. Wars create destruction and death. Without peace I could not paint those bucolic woods filled with lyricism and mystery, trees with green foliage and the fog among their trunks filtrating the light slightly and making an exercise of mysticism out of their moving. With the war everything would be burnt, death and destruction would turn the world into a place of horror, silence and barbarism."
